Welcome to Clyde Hall, a traditional, year-round Bed and Breakfast (not AirBnB) nestled in the luxurious countryside of Lanark Village. Our historic property backs onto the scenic Clyde River, with the third fairway of the Timber Run Golf Course right at our back door. We offer exclusive, 5-star accommodations in a relaxed, pastoral atmosphere—all at an affordable price.
To ensure your ultimate privacy and security, the owners live on-site in a private, attached wing. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking rest and relaxation, let us help you plan your perfect getaway.
Upon arrival, we will take you on a brief tour to help you settle in. Because we pride ourselves on serving the freshest food possible, we will share our breakfast menu and take your order and preferred dining time the day before. Look forward to a delicious morning experience featuring our signature Eggs Benedict and maple bacon!
Please note: To preserve the character of our historic property, all guest rooms are located on the upper floors and are accessible only by stairs. We do not have main-floor rooms or an elevator.

- Indoor shoes or slippers – We do have some slippers (medium size only) for your use
- Wine, beer or coolers – Glassware is available, ice machine in the dinning room, mini fridge in our solarium
- Some snacks, although we do provide complimentary snacks
- Bathing suit – going commando is not permitted

Cost & policies for a 2-night whole house wedding booking: *See policies below*
Our 2026 pricing as $1395 per night for the whole house (6 rooms) You can click on “our rates” on our website to see individual room pricing
For a 2 night full house bookings (weddings at Temples, Timber Run Golf Club , Upton Barn or another location) we offer up the following:
- You get all 3 suites and the 3 bedroom family loft
- You get exclusive use of the B&B including the the grounds, the pool and hot tub
- You may bring in photography (we waive the $100 fee)
- You may bring in hair and make-up people to help you get ready (we waive the $150 clean up fee). They will need to checked in by our staff
- We can make a wedding cake at 50% discount (fee varies but expect $250-300). (Robert is master pastry chef here who teaches baking and has made wedding cakes for over 25 years)
- Breakfast is included for all guests
- We do have a BBQ area for our guest to use if needed. You can bring in food for the night before dinner. Clean up is required
- Registered overnight guests may bring in their own personal spirits.
- Non-registered guests are not permitted on the property without expressed permission from the owners of Clyde Hall B&B.
- Any approved non-registered guests attending the property are not allowed to drink any form of alcohol, legal cannabis or use the pool or hot tub.
- We will make an elegant “morning – after – wedding” brunch (included for over night guests) and you can invite up to 10 additional persons to join you (a $35 fee apples to those extra guests)
- You can arrange an outdoor ceremony (no additional cost). You will need to set up your own seating and decor
- You can arrange an indoor ceremony for up to 24 persons.
- if you need room turnovers (1 night stay for someone and another 1 night stay for someone else) $50 cleaning fee per room
We can arrange a tour and to further discuss your needs. A $300 deposit is required to hold the date. The balance is due upon check-in
Cots Available
We have a limited number of cots and are available for the Caldwell McMullen and Poolside suite. Cots are not available in the Family loft.
Cost is $75 per night and includes breakfast. (recommended for children only)
Children are welcome
Although we have no restrictions for kids, we remind our guests that there may be other guests here and we want everyone to enjoy the B&B. Also there is a pool area so children are not permitted to be at the pool unattended. (no exceptions). There are a number of antiques here at the B&B and parents are fully responsible for any damaged cause by their kids.

Welcome to Clyde Hall: Your Wedding Weekend Retreat
We are absolutely delighted to host your wedding group! We love being the peaceful sanctuary where you rest, connect, and prepare for such a joyful occasion. To help us keep our historic Bed & Breakfast beautiful and relaxing for everyone, we kindly ask you and your guests to review our house guidelines below.
🌸 Guest & Visitor Guidelines
We want to be as accommodating as possible! If you have a special request, just ask—if it is reasonable, we are usually happy to help. To ensure a smooth stay, please note:
- Guest Registration: Please provide us with the names of all overnight guests and their room assignments prior to your arrival.
- Essential Daytime Visitors & Vendors: While we love being the spot where you prepare for your big day, please limit daytime visitors to essential wedding guests and vendors only (such as your parents, bridesmaids, photographer, hairstylist, or makeup artist). Please provide us with their names ahead of time.
- Non-Overnight Guests: If you wish to have any non-registered daytime visitors pop by (outside of morning brunch), please check with management first and provide their names. For the peace of the property, all visitors are kindly asked to depart by 9:00 PM.
- Overnight Accommodations: Only registered overnight guests may stay at Clyde Hall. We cannot permit extra guests to sleep on couches, in sleeping bags, on cots, or in vehicles parked on the property.
- All overnight guests must be checked in by us. This is to show them where their rooms are, to get the keys and entry code. Please do not have your guests arrive here after the wedding for the 1st time. This creates confusion and stress on everyone.
🤫 Quiet Hours & Socializing
- Quiet Time: Our peaceful quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Late-Night Socializing: If you would like to keep the conversation going after hours, our solarium is the perfect, cozy spot for late-night gathering without disturbing others.
- Pool & Hot Tub: The pool and hot tub are open for your enjoyment until 10:00 PM and reopen at 7:00 AM. For everyone’s safety, use of the pool or hot tub is strictly prohibited if you are impaired.
🥂 Alcohol & Safety Policies
- Alcohol Regulations: In strict compliance with Ontario Law and LCBO regulations, alcohol may only be consumed on the property by registered overnight guests. We are unable to make exceptions to this legal requirement.
- Responsible Driving: Drinking and driving is absolutely not tolerated under any circumstances. We want everyone to get home safely!
- Our Environment: Rowdy, disrespectful, or threatening behaviour does not fit the spirit of Clyde Hall. Guests displaying this behaviour will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
🧹 Services & Care of the Property
- Linens & Makeup: We provide beautiful white linens for your comfort. Because makeup and shoe polish can cause permanent stains, black towels are specially provided in each room for makeup removal and cleanup. Please keep white bedding and towels inside their respective rooms to avoid mismatching.
- Furniture & Vendor Cleanup: We ask that any moved furniture be gently returned to its original place before you leave. We also kindly ask that your hair and makeup teams tidy up their workspace before they depart.
- Mid-Stay Refresh: For single-night guests within a longer booking, we offer a light room refresh (tidying the bathroom and making the bed) between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM for $50 per room.
💳 Deposits, Payments & Check-Out
- Payments: Full payment is required prior to check-in. We happily accept debit, cash, e-transfer, or credit card (credit card payments are subject to a 3% surcharge).
- Booking & Security Deposit: A $300 deposit secures your booking. For your convenience, this automatically becomes your security deposit during your stay.
- Deposit Return: Your $300 deposit will be fully refunded (usually within 1 to 2 days after check-out) provided the B&B is left in a reasonably tidy condition, keys are returned, and no damage, theft, or excessive linen staining has occurred.
- Check-Out: Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Please return all room keys to Clyde Hall management upon departure. Late check-outs must be approved in advance.
- Cancellations & Left Items: Please note that we are unable to offer refunds for guest no-shows. If any belongings are accidentally left behind, we will safely hold them for 30 days (with the exception of socks and undergarments, which are disposed of immediately for hygiene reasons). After 30 days, items will be donated or disposed of.
